At last! We are back online!!!

You never realise how much you rely on something until it's gone - and that's what happened about having the internet. We always knew we used it a lot but it was only while we didn't have it - for nearly A MONTH that we have really missed it. And the most difficult part was not being able to keep in touch with my internet friends and keep up to date with the news on the message boards. But here we are - back in the 21st century and boy, am I glad!! :o)

Since my last (hasty) entry that I did at my mum's we have settled into the new house really well and aren't missing our old town at all. I didn't have any friends to speak of back in Hertfordshire so don't really miss anyone there at all. (How SAD is that??)

Pat started work at the new practice the week before Christmas as a locum because the vendors were going on holiday and needed cover. As far as we are aware, all is ready with the completion of the business but with the vendors going away and then the solicitors (the cheeky gits) being closed until 2nd January means that nothing can happen until new year. Working at the practice went really well and we can't wait until it's all ours! They were really busy and the clients were very friendly - and we were very pleased with the level of takings - soon to be ours - hurrah!!
