We're going to see Take That at Wembley!! Woo Hoo!!

Oh - My - God! This time next week, we'll be pretty much moved out!

Have had a very successful weekend and have managed to get nearly everything packed up so there's not too much left to do this weekend. And on top of the packing, we also went to Wycombe on Saturday night as it was Sonia's birthday. We had a nice meal and a few laughs and then me & Pat went back to my Mum & Dad's for the night - which was just as well because apparently Sonia picked up another man that night and took him back to her's. I can't understand her - she admitted that she didn't even LIKE this bloke!

On Sunday morning, I went with mum up to the yard and helped her with Paddy, but didn't ride him, due to hangover and time constraints. But we had a good chat and they are coming to ours next week to help with the move - which is nice of them.

Anyway - onto something very important - I spent ages on Friday on the internet and have managed to get 4 tickets for Take That at Wembley!!! Am very excited!!!! So, it's me, Sonia, Helen and Katie (Helen's sister) who are going!!!! Back in the early 90's, we were real Take That fans so I just HAD to get tickets when I knew they were re-forming for a one off tour!!!

Yoday is CD2. On top of everything else, AF arrived yesterday. I just need to record that so that I'll have half an idea when the next AF is due to arrive as I'm not able to remember, what with everything that's going on. A few weeks ago, I heard about a mooncup (www.mooncup.co.uk) as an alternative to tampons & pads. The idea sounded uncomfortable and messy, but lots of ladies on my discussion forum use them and say they're really good so I have bought one. But the thought of struggling with it at the moment, what with everything else that's going on, has made me decide to put it off until next month, when, hopefully, I'll have a bit more time to practice with it.

We tried once more to look for Edith the missing tortoise and I'm 99.99% sure that she's escaped from our garden. The puzzle is that there isn't anywhere that she could have got out because I've checked every inch of the boundary. But on the other hand, we've also checked every inch of the garden in case she's dug herself right down and she's definitely not there! The ground is all smooth and no evidence of digging.... it's a real mystery. I'm so slack, aren't I? I only got the tortoises this year and I've lost one already - hopeless!!!! Call myself a vet's wife / future vet practice manager / owner? I can't be trusted to look after a tortoise responsibly!!!
